South Coast Law Firm is seeking a Part-time Lawyer to join our dynamic team in Ulladulla, NSW. As a Lawyer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality legal services to our diverse client base, with a focus on general legal practice.

About the role:

Providing legal advice and representation to clients across a range of practice areas, including but not limited to family law, criminal law, and general litigation

Drafting and reviewing legal documents

Conducting legal research and preparing court documents

Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective and efficient handling of cases

General legal administrative support for the wider team as required

Manage client matters from initial consultation through to resolution

About you:

Minimum 1 year experience in a general legal practice or similar role

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions

Proficient in the use of legal research tools and technologies

Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining high standards of professional conduct

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
