About Us

Physio Collective is a dedicated women’s health physiotherapy clinic based in beautiful Port Macquarie on the NSW Mid North Coast. We are passionate about improving pelvic health and wellness for women across all life stages in our community. Our friendly team of women’s health physiotherapists, along with allied professionals (including a perinatal psychologist and lactation consultant), provides evidence-based, compassionate care in a warm and supportive environment. We pride ourselves on our client-centered approach and strong reputation among local GPs and health providers. If you’re looking to join an organisation that values collaboration, growth and genuine care, Physio Collective is the place to be.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Women’s Health Physiotherapist to join our team and focus exclusively on women’s health clients. In this role, you will manage a diverse caseload of clients – from young women to new mums and beyond – addressing pelvic floor dysfunction, continence issues, prolapse management, pregnancy and postnatal recovery, pelvic pain, and more. You’ll be making a meaningful difference every day, helping clients achieve better health outcomes and improve their quality of life.

This is a truly unique career move for a physiotherapist who wants to continue or upskill their practice in women’s health and avoid the burnout that can come with a heavy general musculoskeletal load. No sports injuries or general private practice aches and pains here – you’ll be focusing 100% on the area you love. We offer the chance to work full-time or part-time (your choice), so you can enjoy work-life balance while pursuing your passion. If you’ve been craving a more rewarding, purpose-driven physiotherapy role, this opportunity could be your perfect fit.

What We Offer

Competitive Salary + Commission: An attractive base salary of $85,000 – $110,000 AUD (commensurate with your experience) plus up to 50% commission on performance. We reward your expertise and results.

Flexible Work Options: Choose full-time or part-time hours to suit your lifestyle. We understand the importance of work-life balance and will work with you to create a schedule that fits your needs.

Career Shift Support: If you are currently working as a physiotherapist and looking to move into women’s health, we offer structured upskilling, mentoring, and funded professional development to support your transition and build your confidence in this rewarding area.

CPD Support: Generous Continuing Professional Development allowance and dedicated mentoring/training sessions. We encourage you to pursue courses, workshops and further training – and we’ll help fund it.

Supportive Team & Culture: Be part of a close-knit, passionate team that truly cares about what we do. You’ll work alongside fellow women’s health physios and allied health professionals in a positive, collaborative clinic culture where your ideas and growth are supported.

Meaningful Work: Above all, enjoy the fulfilment of making a real impact in women’s lives. This role allows you to develop a deeper connection with your clients and see the profound improvements in their health and wellbeing over time.

About You

We’re looking for a warm, motivated physiotherapist who is excited to focus on women’s health. Ideally, you will have:

Formal Qualifications: A degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.

Passion for Women’s Health: A keen interest in women’s health and pelvic floor physiotherapy. You truly care about helping women through issues like postpartum recovery, pelvic pain and continence management.

Client-Centered Approach: An empathetic, professional approach to client care. You build trust easily and maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and respect.

Excellent Communication: Strong communication and education skills – you can explain health information clearly and make clients feel heard and supported.

Team Player Attitude: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. You value learning from others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Drive to Learn and Grow: Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development. You might have completed (or are planning to undertake) additional training in pelvic floor/women’s health physiotherapy. (Previous experience in women’s health is highly regarded but not mandatory – we will support the right person to develop these skills.)

Initiative and Reliability: A self-motivated clinician who can work independently when needed, manage your caseload efficiently, and take initiative to provide the best care for your clients.

If you’re a physiotherapist who is perhaps feeling burned out from a heavy sports/MSK caseload and yearning for more purposeful, rewarding work, then this role is made for you. New challenges and a supportive pathway in women’s health await!

How to Apply

If this sounds like your next dream role, we’d love to hear from you. To apply, please submit your resume and a cover letter via SEEK, outlining why you’re the perfect fit for this women’s health physiotherapy position.
