WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be looking after residents, earning great pay, and making a real impact in Residential Care, with our awesome employer partner, a major aged care provider in Canberra with positions available in Monash, Ainslie and Farrer. You will:

• Provide quality care, support, and companionship to residents
• Help support residents’ independence, and improve their quality of life
• Provide daily assistance with mealtime, personal care, hygiene and showering
• Supporting residents with social activities and recreation
• Assist with medication (those that don’t have this skill, will be trained)

We’re on the lookout for someone aged 18 – 26* who:

• Has empathy and emotional intelligence
• Has a can do attitude
• Is a reliable team player
• Has consideration and respect for others and their views
• Has high ethical standards, is trustworthy and confidential
• Has strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Certificate III Individual Support (Aged Care/Home and Community Care) (or higher) or similar, or studying towards Nursing qualification
• NDIS screening clearance
• Police check
