The role:
We are seeking workers to support a young man in the Redland Bay area. This young man is a diverse individual who brings out the best in people, he is a happy lad seeking humanistic and confident support. This young man loves engaging with empathic people who are positive and energetic. He loves community and attentive support. He has core people already in his team ready to work alongside likeminded people to enhance his team and his opportunities to grow.
We are looking for applications with below prerequisites and experience in supporting high personal care needs. The role requires a willingness to learn and build your skill set in complex support. The support shifts required are day shift, night shift, community participation and active overnights.
This role requires
· Positive yellow card/NDIS workers screening
· Open driver's license
· Certification of First Aid and current CPR
· Cert III and IV in disability highly regarded
· Prior experience in high personal care disability support work
· EN, AIN, RN or CN qualification strongly encouraged to apply
· Physically healthy for active shifts
· Acuate record keeping and data input skills
· Working cohesively with positive team perspective
· Commitment to continuity of care
· Humanistic approach to people’s individual needs
· Completion of NDIS workers orientation training
· Willingness to complete Organizational induction onsite training
