Salary Range: $73,000 - $78,000 (depending on skills and experience)

S2 Thai Projects Pty Ltd operates two renowned restaurants in Adelaide: Von Thai and Thai Room. Von Thai is celebrated for delivering exceptional Thai dining experiences, combining the finest local produce with authentic Thai ingredients and cooking techniques. Our restaurant is known for its inviting ambiance, innovative menu, and commitment to culinary excellence.

Main Duties:

Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes, showcasing traditional recipes and modern interpretations.

Contribute to menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer feedback.

Oversee kitchen operations to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene.

Manage stock, order supplies, and control kitchen costs effectively.

Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Collaborate with management to enhance the overall dining experience.

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.

At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably specializing in Thai cuisine.

In-depth knowledge of Thai cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavour profiles.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
