Your Nurse Australia PTY' is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant in Nursing to join our dedicated team in Lithgow NSW 2790. In this casual role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care to our aged care residents.

Key responsibilities

• Assist registered nurses and other care staff in delivering personalised, compassionate care to elderly residents
• Help with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding residents
• Monitor and record residents' health, behaviours, and any changes in condition
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to enhance their wellbeing
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the broader care team
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

What we're looking for

• A current Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing or similar role in an aged care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build rapport with elderly residents
• Genuine passion for supporting and enhancing the quality of life for older adults
• Commitment to delivering excellent, person-centred care
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated care team
• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
