Workfast are seeking a Storeperson - Warehouse Operator for a valued client located in Welshpool, WA.

What you get

• $35.00 per hour base and penalties + True OT
• 7.30am - 3.30pm, Monday-Friday
• Immediate Start
• Ongoing work, Temp to Perm for the right person

What you need

• High Risk Work Licence - Forklift
• C Class Drivers Licence
• Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or higher is preferred

What you will be doing

• Safely and responsibly unload stock from trucks, containers, and vehicles.
• Verify that all paperwork is accurate, goods are in good condition, and quantities match orders.
• Process goods using our ERP software for accurate inventory management.
• Label and store goods in appropriate locations to optimise flow and minimise waste.
• Notify relevant team members upon receipt of goods.
• Ensure all goods are processed promptly and according to safety procedures.

• Print pick slips and manage orders using the ERP software.
• Accurately pick and inspect items to ensure they are in good condition.
• Pack goods securely for transportation.
• Arrange collections based on order requirements and communication protocols.
• Load goods onto vehicles safely to ensure secure and timely deliveries.
• Dispatch goods using the ERP software, following established procedures.

• Print pick slips and manage transfer processes using the ERP software.
• Accurately pick and inspect items for inter-warehouse transfers.
• Securely pack goods for transportation and arrange collection or internal transfer.
• Load transfers safely onto vehicles, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Post transfers using ERP software and notify relevant team members.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
• Conduct scheduled cycle counts and report discrepancies.
• Ensure safe working practices in compliance with safety legislation.

• Receive and inspect incoming and outgoing goods.
• Review deliveries against invoices to identify discrepancies.
• Unload, unpack, and store goods efficiently.
• Adhere to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment to manage stock movements.
• Label goods for proper identification.
• Measure, weigh, and pack goods securely.
• Assist with regular stocktakes.
• Utilise computers and digital tools to locate inventory.
