About the role

Seeking experienced and reliable Heavy Rigid (HR)/Heavy Combination (HC) Drivers to join the team at MKD Transcorp', a leading transportation and logistics provider based in Hoxton Park, NSW. As a HR/HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the region. This is a full-time position with competitive remuneration and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

Operate Heavy Rigid (HR) / Heavy Combination (HC) vehicles safely and in accordance with all traffic regulations

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition

Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to driver safety and compliance

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients

Maintain accurate records of delivery documentation and logbook entries

Assist with unloading of vehicles as needed

What we're looking for

Current Heavy Rigid (HR) / Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience driving HR / HC vehicles in a commercial setting

Strong knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices

Excellent time management and problem-solving skills

Commitment to maintaining a safe and professional driving record

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills
