About the role We are seeking Mental Health Support Worker to assist program participants to identify their values and strengths, set goals for the future, and build skills to work towards achieving these. This position delivers practical support to participants, with a focus on the development of decision-making skills, social participation, independent living, healthy lifestyle, community access and building self-identity and resilience skills. We have a full-time, fixed-term opportunity available to 30 June 2026. Full-time employees have the option to enjoy a rostered day off each month. Why join us?

We are looking for someone with:

  1. Minimum Certificate IV in mental health, health or community/social services discipline. Experience working in Mental Health or other similar role is highly desired.
  2. Demonstrated commitment to working from a recovery orientation
  3. Demonstrated capacity to engage with and mentor people to work towards their recovery goals in a structured and planned way
  4. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, and develop positive and effective working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including program participants, families and carers and other service providers
