The Role

John Flynn Operating Theatres are looking for a Level 2 Clinical Scrub/Scout nurse to support the General Surgical Perioperative team. John Flynn Hospital Perioperative team perform high volumes of General surgeries including open, laparoscopic and Da Vinci Robotic. Experience within this areas will be seen as favourable.

About You

• Current registration with AHPRA (Registered Nurse)
• Extensive clinical and professional knowledge at least 5 years' experience in general surgery, laparoscopic surgery and robotic surgery
• Leadership experience in area of specialty and/or multi-disciplinary team
• Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Knowledge and application of quality improvement principles, research and best practice principles
• Knowledge and application of legislation relevant to area of nursing practice

Remuneration

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)

Requirements
