About Research Ethics and Clinical Trails Team:
The Research Ethics & Clinical Trials Office manages the interface between Ethics Committees, researchers and state, federal and international regulatory bodies, ensuring QIMR Berghofer’s ethical systems and processes are effective and support researchers.
Role Purpose / Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager, Research Ethics and Clinical Trials, you will provide expert support and on-going mentoring to QIMR Berghofer researchers, clinical trial coordinators involved with clinical trial management. You will implement, administer and participate in the on-going review and development of the quality clinical trial management system at QIMR Berghofer to comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
About you:
If organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and attention to detail are words that describe you well, this is the role for you. You will hold a life science degree, nursing or allied health degree. You will have practical knowledge of conducting clinical research and experience in interpreting clinical research related guidelines and legislation and in documenting and reporting clinical research-related information. To be successful in this role, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work autonomously. Whilst not essential, practical experience with clinical trial software would be an advantage.
Remuneration: Salary range is $106,593 to $118,347 p.a. plus super and salary packaging. This is a full-time permanent appointment.
