Responsibilities:
Provide practical care in line with Client Care Plans, including personal care, domestic assistance, and social support.
Support clients in the home, community, and in a day, respite setting for Elders.
Promote independence and dignity while delivering culturally safe care.
Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure quality, client-centered services.
Comply with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission Standards and relevant policies and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully in accordance with a no blame culture and confidentiality requirements
Ability to communicate issues of concern to the Care Services Team Leader and other team members or to the Clinical Manager
Comply with rostering and attendance system requirements including logging on and off shift, including breaks
Utilizing work devices, read and complete tasks within Clinical Manager or Care Keepers such as reading care plans, read and complete daily progress notes and charts
Observe, record and report within scope of experience, skills and training on progress, barriers, opportunities and exceptions when working with clients
About you:
Well-developed communication skills including an ability to communicate in a culturally appropriate and respectful way with staff, residents, clients, family and community members
Capacity to prioritize work within established routines, methods and procedures
Ability to apply or willingness to develop skills to use a range of information and communication technology driving high quality care (including – Clinical Manager, Care keeper, MS Office 365, teams and email.)
Experience working in community and/or a residential setting
Experience working in an Aboriginal Community Controlled setting
Certificate 3 in Community Support or Individual Support (Aged and/or Disability) or equivalent or willingness to work towards completion
Live in Coober Pedy or willing to re-locate

Working alongside NDIS, we offer quality assistance and medical health support for clients with minor to complex health conditions.
This position is Full time and can include weekends as per employees' preferences.
