In the role of Temporary Principal Application Developer (Microservices), you will provide hands on technical skills and expertise to both develop and support event driven architecture microservices that underpin the just in time performance of the DLA.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Leading the design, development, deployment, and support of the Digital Licence related microservices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring within the team, promoting agile methodologies and continuous improvement..
• Contribute to operational support, innovation research, and assist with broader team functions such as budgeting, planning and process improvement.
• Incident investigation in the Digital Licence-related environments, including log analysis.

To be considered suitable for the role you will have:
• Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines to support the efficient, reliable and secure delivery of applications across identity platforms (eg. Auth0), integration layers (eg. MuleSoft), and microservices-based cloud environments.
• Net or similar programming skills.
• Work collaboratively as part of an agile DevSecOps team.
• Willingness to work across the technology stack.
• Work with external vendors on the delivery of the Digital Licence Program.
• Familiarity with event driven systems, kafka, Amazon Web Services, although not required will make it easier to transition into the team.
