• Casual contract from 26th May 2025 - 27th June 2025 (inclusive)
• Pay rate: $32.25 (inclusive of casual loading) + super
• Current drivers licence and own transport required

About the company/role:
Our client is one of Australia’s oldest and largest exporter of Australian fibres and has been associated with the international textile industry for many years and is renowned as a consistent, reliable supplier of a quality product.
If you completed your degree recently this might be the opportunity you are waiting for. We are currently recruiting for recent graduates or candidates with 1-2 years experience to join a busy industrial laboratory in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

The Laboratory Technician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Basic wet and dry chemistry
• Accurately performing routine and non-routine test work
• Testing raw materials and finished product
• Collection and analysis of waste water
• Housekeeping and care of equipment and facilities
• Follow procedures and OH&S requirements
• Data entry and producing basic reports

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in science, preferable chemistry
• PC literate in Microsoft Office (incl. Word, Excel and Power Point)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Quick and attentive learner
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Ability to work with chemicals in a safe and appropriate manner
