Taurus is a privately owned and operated specialist mining supplier with various clients around Australia.

We are seeking experienced Dump truck/Moxy Operators for an ASAP start at our clients Mount Compass Mine.

The role is SHORT TERM based on site requirements and will be for approx 2 months to assist a big project.

About the Role

Our client is happy to consider Mining, Quarrying or Civil mobile plant operators. We cannot offer entry level roles, we need experienced operators for these positions.

This position is based in Mount Compass and would suit people living in the southern suburbs of Adelaide (Noarlunga/Hallett Cove) or Victor Harbour & surrounds.

Due to fatigue management we cannot consider anyone who has to travel more than 50 mins each way to site.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following;

Experience operating a Rigid or Artic Dump Truck

A background on a mine site or quarry is preferred but if you have civil experience then you are encouraged to apply.

Current drivers licence and own transport.

A commitment to your own safety and those who work with you.

Successful candidates will also be required to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

What's in it for you?

Roster is Day shift only Mon - Fri (plus occasional Saturdays)

Above Award base rate plus penalties after first 7.6 hours each day.

Shifts and contract length may vary dependent on operational requirements but current requirements are for approx 2 months
