About the Polaris Team:

The Polaris Marketing team orchestrates marketing plans that drive lead generation, new customer acquisition and retention across product segments, all while championing our multiple product categories and embedding our brand positioning locally, as the product of choice for consumers. You will work closely with like-minded people, agencies and dealers to deliver innovative, high-impact campaigns.

About the Job:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented marketing professional with a passion for crafting effective campaigns that translate to meaningful outcomes. The Marketing Specialist will take responsibility for advertising and promotional activities, along with media planning, production, digital, event and point-of-sale activities to ensure ongoing growth and success for our brands.

Job Requirements:

In conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Team, develops quarterly, annual and long-term marketing strategies and associated plans.

Contributes to the development of an integrated marketing strategy with the sales team to support achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales, market share, revenue and profit targets.

Develops and organizes paid media plans that drive awareness and creates demand.

Creates and coordinates advertising creative for various channels

Develops and communicates promotional guides and price lists to ensure flawless execution from the sales team to the dealer network.

Manages budget and guidelines for dealer co-operative advertising.

Develops launch plan for new models inclusive of communication, digital and collateral.

Creates and dispatches marketing materials to Dealers that align with marketing strategy and campaigns.

Prepares and assists with development of communications to dealers on incentive programmes.

Manages the yearly calendar for events and provides support for designated events

Undertakes competitive analysis and reports back to leadership on SWOT analysis.

Develops PGA campaign plans and accessories sell sheets in line with current campaigns

Works with relevant department heads to develop dealer bulletins and communications to ensure correct messaging.

What is required to be successful:

Marketing Tertiary Qualification

At least 2 – 5 years relevant experience

Passion for the outdoors and powersport with some product affinity for Off Road, On Road or Marine

Innovative and creative thinker, willing to push the boundaries

Strong skills and understanding in digital marketing strategies

The vision to be a leader, think outside the box and raise the bar to new heights

A drive and passion to win, grow and be successful

A high level of attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
