About Us
Community Bike Hub is a multifaceted social enterprise developed in collaboration with Local Impact.
The Community Bike Hub services the community in a broad variety of ways: we run a full service retail workshop, an education program teaching basic bike mechanic skills to over 400 students per year, a Traffic School and a community volunteer program that contributes to our mission of creating a sustainable and circular economy while funnelling into our donation program providing equitable access to active transport for refugees and asylum seekers.
We’re looking for friendly & welcoming Junior Cycling Coaches and party supervisors at our Brimbank Traffic School in Keilor Downs.
Party Supervisors make sure our customers have an awesome time, they also:
Get to work with a great team.
Work in at atmosphere that’s fun and energetic.
Learn new skills and have the opportunity to get involved in other great Community Bike Hub programs
Cycling Coaches teach young riders to ride and build bike skills confidence, they also:
Get to work with a great team.
Get access to accredited training
Learn new skills and have the opportunity to get involved in other great Community Bike Hub programs
You can apply for one or both roles and work 2-8 hrs per week. All shifts are rostered on Saturdays and Sundays
Experience and attributes
Have an interest in bikes and coaching/or working with Children
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work under pressure
Able to work independently
Problem-solving ability
Ability to work well with others
Hold a current Working With Children Check
Experience in a similar role would be highly regarded but not a pre requisite.
