Our Client is a Scaffolding Storage and Distribution company who are looking for Skilled Labourers to join their tight team based in Minto.

Job Description:

To support the yard manager and operations team with the accurate and timely processing of returns in accordance to workplace policies. Ensure quality checks and quality grades are met at all times during return process as well as general inventory. The person will work in close relation and in conjunction with the reconditioning and commercial team to ensure all return evidence and counts are properly processed within specific timeframes in order to achieve Operations Top Process KPI’s.

The individual will report directly to the yard manager and the position is located in the Minto.

Key responsibilities include

• Returns processing and managing
• Contacts and communication with job site (operations and yard)
• Announcement of returns from job site
• Unloading and organization of returns
• Clear labeling unloaded returns
• Organization of work places and process during returns
• Review return counts, photos and allocation of materials
• Processing of customer documentation
• Forwarding of return information to yard and operations
• First sight, Taking correct data about returns (first counts and final counts)
• Sorting of material (good-repair-scrapped)
• Preliminary damage report
• Entering of data in return App, Open inventory document and Discos
• Evidence of scrapped material including organization and clear marking
• Preliminary damage report
• Administrative responsibility by ensuring allocation and reconditioning of returned material by prioritization
• Closing of return in conjunction with Commercial team
• Material flow in system (returns - good stock - repair stock)
• Importance of correct writing data about repaired material (Productivity)
• Documentation (Document, printing, delivery to yard, closing)
• Spare parts necessary (Product Dana sheets, DISCOS)
• Differences in comparison with recondition service order
• Rough availability check of new and used material
• calculating of necessary spare parts (Excel-sheet for faster calculation)
• Set-up External reconditioning Service orders- Repair and cleaning other formwork systems, customers material according to the flowchart
• Quality check
• Inspection of measuring and testing equipment
• Organization of work places and process during the return treatment
• Sorting of material in main yard (good-repair-scrapped),
• Arrange Scrapped material stock (organization, clearly marking) in yard with evidence

Requirements – Experience & qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fast moving parts manufacturing & distribution facility or similar
• Experience in Construction
• Competent with MS Office and experience using material management soft wares
• Strong understanding of the Supply Chain and Logistics
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Hands-on mentality, engaged personality and confident attitude
• Resilient, attention to details, strong problem solving & analytical skills and strong drive to succeed
• a 'can do' attitude and be able to work to tight schedules
