About the role

Plainland's & Gatton Mitre 10 is seeking a part-time Delivery Driver to join our team in Plainland, Queensland. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This is an important role that supports the overall operations of our retail hardware store.

What you'll be doing

Pick up, load, and deliver products to customers within the local area

Manual handling ranging from light to heavy products

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining customer signatures and completing delivery paperwork

Ensure the safe handling and transportation of goods to prevent damage

Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers

Perform basic vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the delivery van is in good working order

Assist with loading and unloading of goods in the store as needed

What we're looking for

Valid driver's licence and a safe driving record

Valid Medium Rigid or High Rigid Truck Licence

Experience in a customer service or delivery-oriented role

Strong time management and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Familiarity with the local area and ability to navigate efficiently

Available to work weekends if necessary
