My client operates in the Crushing, Screening and Conveyers industry across WA, supplying their products to Mining, Recycling and Quarries.

About the role:

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters to strip down, refurbish and build conveyers at their workshop and yard in Muchea.

Monday to Saturday 10hr days, although Saturdays can be negotiable down to 4hrs or 6hrs if that's more suitable.

You will work in a team of Mechanical Fitters and Boilermakers to strip down used conveyers, repair any issues then rebuild the conveyer to return to site. This role is based north of the river in Muchea, easily accessible from the Tonkin Highway.

About you, as a minimum:

• Trade Qualified Mechanical Fitter Essential
• Experience working on fixed plant equipment such as crushers, screens or conveyers
• Must have full working rights in Australia
• Inspect, analyse and record critical mechanical information during the process of undertaking new build, refurbishment work and strip and assessment
• The general assembly of conveyor equipment and components, and perform assembly of Pulley shafts and shells and gearboxes
• Escalate and communicate problems and issues with Workshop Supervisor
• Ensure safe work practices are adopted at all times, communicating any issues to site management
