DEX Transport is a Townsville based company that runs services between Cairns, Tablelands, Mackay and also Charters Towers. We pride ourselves on time-critical deliveries undertaken by polite trained professionals.

We are currently seeking MR driver based in Townsville to join our team. Applicants will need to be enthusiastic, motivated and determined individuals who have the ability to work both unsupervised and in a team environment.

The position is casual but has the potential to become permanent for the right person. You get to be a part of an expanding company, driving clean modern equipment plus the Monday to Friday working week allows for a work-life balance.

Your duties will include.

Loading and unloading of general freight

Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements

Carrying out vehicle pre-start checks

Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites and depots

To be considered for the role, you must have.

Current MR Driver’s License.

Excellence customer service skills.

Communication skills both written and verbal.

Available to work Monday to Friday.

Ability to work both in a team and unsupervised.

Accredited forklift ticket desirable.
