About the role

Carlton Day and Night Pharmacy is seeking an experienced, qualified Pharmacist in charge for 1 weekday and/or 1 weekend shift. You will be responsible for providing expert pharmaceutical care and customer service to our patients.

What you'll be doing

Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently - pharmacy uses Fred Dispense Plus and Fred Office

Providing professional advice and counsel to patients on the safe and effective use of their medications

Monitoring patients' medication usage and health progress, and recommending adjustments as needed

Maintaining thorough and accurate patient records

Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care

Ensuring the pharmacy complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards

Assisting with inventory management and medication stock control

What we're looking for

Current registration as a Pharmacist in Australia

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a community or retail pharmacy setting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, caregivers, and other healthcare providers

Strong organisational and time management abilities to juggle multiple tasks and priorities

A commitment to providing the highest quality of pharmaceutical care and customer service

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends
