Protector Aluminium & Glass are a highly successful wholesale business, manufacturing a wide range of quality aluminium fencing and balustrade, security doors, decorative screening and other products, for supply across Australia and New Zealand.

Our production and warehousing team at Kunda Park are small enough to feel like a family, yet large enough to offer varied tasks, and progression opportunities for dedicated team members.

About the Role

Full Time - Mon-Fri 6am - 2.06pm

Following induction and training, this role will see you providing factory assistance in the areas of:

· Warehouse operations including wrapping finished product, picking and packing, moving products to storage, completing dispatch paperwork

· Assisting the powder coating team by treating and powder coating fencing and components, including hanging product on lines as well as manual spraying.

· May be trained in other departments of the warehouse, depending on the needs of the business.

We manufacture to strict quality standards, so the ability to follow set instructions and complete required paperwork is essential. Other skills and abilities required include:

· Keen interest and ability to work with tools, including an eye for detail and pride in producing quality products;

· Physically capable to lift, carry and move lengths of aluminium, and stand for long periods of time. Ability to complete repetitive tasks, and reach, bend and twist;

· Team player with good communication skills, willing to work across different work groups, either independently or as part of a team;

· Strong work ethic, reliable, on-time and available to work scheduled hours;

· Understand the importance of workplace health and safety and follow company policies and procedures.
