About the company/role:

• Global pharmaceutical company based near Melbourne CBD
• 12-month casual contract, full-time hours
• Mon - Fri, standard business hours
• Immediate start

Duties:

• Planning, execution and documentation of lab experiments for general operations support, evaluation of process changes/improvements and investigation and evaluation of deviations in production and in quality of client products
• Calibration of pH meters
• Prepare buffers and assist with experiments
• Assist with the execution of batches and the scale down mode
• Assist with investigational studies including DOE conducted using manufacturing scale down models or single unit operations to be documented in ELNs and study reports
• Collect, label, distribute samples for analytics. Retrieve and save results in electronic lab notebooks in accordance with GxP documentation.
• Perform FPLC chromatography and ultra-filtration at kilo scale

About you:

• Bachelor's of Science
• 1-2 years of experience in bioprocessing and filtration within a GMP environment
• Must have familiarity with plasma derived intermediates, products and GxP documentation
• Experience in scale-up in GMP manufacturing is highly advantageous
• Strong technical and organizational skills
