About the role
Permanent full time and part time opportunity to provide expert clinical knowledge and clinical care for consumers/patients with a variety of conditions and support the general function of unit through role modelling and application of the principles of contemporary evidence based consumer/patient focused care, education, leadership and portfolio management. In addition, this role will provide support and direction to the Registered Nurse and other non-registered nursing personnel in more complex situations.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Respond appropriately to, and provide support and direction to manage sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using advanced nursing assessment and intervention skills.
- Support an evidence-based learning environment and participate in learning activities/opportunities for self and others.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and problem-solving relevant to the care of consumer/patient within the Ward 4 West.
- Practise collaboratively with the interprofessional health care team to promote the safety, security and personal integrity of individuals and groups.
