About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Lecturer who can demonstrate their high-level skills in the delivery of education, leadership and program coordination. You will also mentor lecturing staff for career development, contribute to day-to-day workgroup operations and liaise with other vocational programs and industry representatives.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrate your level of skills, knowledge, and industry experience in line with the Industry Addendum.
  • Identify your significant achievements in managing productive working relationships with workgroup members and stakeholders to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Identify how you have provided educational leadership to workgroup members in the design and delivery of courses, including conformance with quality requirements.
  • Identify your skills in modelling best practices in instructional strategies including flexible delivery and RPL.
  • Identify your skills in leading and managing the prioritisation of work schedules.
  • Bachelor of Education (Adult, Vocational and Workplace Learning) or educational qualifications deemed equivalent.
  • Sound knowledge of the vocational education and training (VET) and higher education sectors.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal Culture and Community.
  • A thorough knowledge of current WHS&E policies, procedures, and processes.

Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a valid DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed. Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Department of Human Services (DHS).

  • Out of hours work may be required and a flexible approach to the hours of duty is essential.
  • Some Intrastate and interstate travel may be required.
  • May be required to relocate to other campuses within TAFE SA.
  • A flexible approach to the taking of leave is essential.
  • Eligible to work in Australia
