About Us

The Bryan Foundation is a philanthropic organisation committed to empowering young Queenslanders through meaningful education. We operate as a grant-maker, service provider, and strategic partner driving system-level change.

Our charity arm, The Bryan Education Foundation, delivers place-based initiatives such as FamilyLinQ to support children, families, and communities. We work across education, early childhood, and community development—collaborating with government, schools, and the not-for-profit sector.

We're a small, values-driven team based in Brisbane, offering a flexible and supportive working environment focused on impact.

About You

Bring your policy insight and project coordination skills to a values-led organisation working at the intersection of education, systems change, and social impact.

We’re seeking a capable, curious, and collaborative Senior Policy and Project Officer to help us turn big ideas into tangible outcomes. You’ll join a small, highly skilled team where autonomy is trusted, and flexibility is built in. If you’re energised by purposeful work, thrive in evolving environments, and have the confidence to work independently while contributing to shared goals—this could be your next role.

What You’ll Do

Analyse policy and research trends to inform real-world action

Draft compelling, evidence-based reports, briefs, and submissions

Coordinate stakeholders, co-design sessions, and strategic projects

Support governance and reporting for funders and internal teams

What You Bring

Tertiary qualification in public policy, social sciences, education, or similar

3–5+ years’ experience in policy support, research, or project roles

Excellent writing, critical thinking, and organisational skills

A self-starter mindset and the ability to navigate complexity with ease

Why Join Us?

$111,000 – $115,000 FTE + 11% super

Salary packaging up to $15,900 (plus $2,650 meals/entertainment)

Flexible, hybrid work built around life—not the other way around

Deeply rewarding work with impact across Queensland and beyond

Based in Brisbane
2-year fixed term, part-time (3–4 days/week), with potential for ongoing employment.
