About the Position

We’re currently hiring a Casual Warehouse Assistant to join our Warehouse Support Team at our Kunda Park facility, with the view to transition to our new Aura facility at the end of the year.

This position plays a vital role in supporting our warehouse operations and will take on expanded responsibilities at Aura, including working with an automated warehousing system.

The main current responsibilities of the Warehouse Support Team are:

General support to the Order Picking team of 40 team members

Ensuring enough UHP boxes are ready for pickers

Maintaining box & packing equipment stock levels

Ensuring pick-face is ready for pickers

Maintaining a clean warehouse and conducting daily cleaning duties

Expanded Responsibilities at Aura:

All current responsibilities listed above, plus:

Performing routine preventative maintenance on the new automated warehousing system

Managing stock and inventory for maintenance parts and components

Supporting automation-integrated workflows in daily warehouse operations

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be confident using electronic/computer-based systems and enjoy working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. Physical capability for regular manual labour, including lifting, is essential. Just as importantly, you should bring a passion for delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. Being handy and mechanically minded is also important, as the role will involve maintaining and supporting the functionality of an automated warehousing system.

Hours & Employment Details

The Warehouse Support role is a casual position operating from Monday to Friday, from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Shifts are scheduled on a weekly roster, with the potential for the role to transition into full-time.
