How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne
The City of Melbourne is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Children’s Services Library Team Leader to help shape the future of its libraries and support the learning and development of children, young people, and families across the community.
Positioned within the Community and City Services Division, this role sits at the core of a branch committed to inclusivity, creativity, and wellbeing.
The Libraries, Recreation and Waterways Branch provides welcoming spaces and services that encourage active, connected lifestyles, while fostering creativity and lifelong learning.
The Children’s Services Library Team Leader will lead dynamic teams to create and deliver engaging children’s programs and collections across our library service.
The role involves building effective partnerships with stakeholders, overseeing toy library operations, supporting child safety initiatives, and contributing to strategic planning and leadership within the library service.
This is an exciting opportunity within a progressive and community-focused organisation, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families.
The position is currently located at Kathleen Syme Library but may work be required to work at any City of Melbourne Library location.
