Hours: Every second Sunday, 9:00am – 1:00pm

Mackay Discount Drug Store is seeking a motivated and customer-centric pharmacist to join our friendly and professional team every second Sunday. You’ll play a key role in delivering quality healthcare to the local community, supported by a dispensary technician, pharmacy assistant, and junior.

About the Role:

Dispense approximately 80 scripts

Use FRED Dispense software

Work in a structured, team-oriented environment

Provide professional pharmacy services in a trusted community setting

Work every second Sunday 9:00am – 1:00pm

Your Responsibilities:

Providing exceptional customer care and service

Accurately and efficiently dispensing medications

Providing expert advice and counselling to patients on medication use and health management

Administering vaccinations (if accredited)

Participating in professional health services and consultations

What We’re Looking For:

Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist

Ability to work independently with confidence

FRED Dispense experience (preferred but not essential)

A genuine focus on patient care and strong interpersonal skills

Vaccination accreditation (desirable but not essential)
