Job Brief / Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibility is general labouring, with some forklift operation as required.
Operate equipment such as forklifts to manage and dispose of waste in line with client specifications.
Perform general waste management tasks, which may include cleaning duties as needed and as per client requirements.
Handle materials such as paper and plastic, and load products into appropriate containers.
Maintain a professional company image and consistently deliver high-quality customer service. Accurately complete all required records and paperwork as directed.
Operate a baler if required.
Prepare plant and machinery work areas as needed.
Clean work areas and external surroundings.
Essential Requirements:

Current valid driver’s licence (Class 1 in NZ; Class C in AUS)
Valid Forklift Licence
Desirable Skills and Experience:

Basic computer skills, particularly with weighbridge software
Previous experience in the waste management industry

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Cleanaway Work Health & Safety (WH&S) training must be completed prior to commencement. Certificate to be presented to the site manager on arrival.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Required:

Long-sleeve top
Long drill pants
High-visibility top
Steel-capped boots
