About the role

Wirraminna Care Inc' is seeking a passionate and experienced Cook/Kitchen Services Assistant to join our team in Barossa Goldfields, SA. This is a casual or part-time role that will see you playing a vital part in the preparation and delivery of delicious and nutritious meals for our resident community.

What you'll be doing

Prepare, cook and serve meals following established recipes and procedures

Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety in food service areas

Manage day to day kitchen operations, including stock ordering and food safety plans

Provide exceptional customer service to our residents by making meals with care and attention while catering for a variety of needs and preferences

Ensure full compliance with food safety standards, HACCP, IDDSI, and dietary guidelines

Contribute to the overall smooth operation of the kitchen and dining services

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the hospitality or aged care industry

Strong knowledge of food preparation, food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality meals on time

Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with residents

Passionate about providing excellent customer service and great food

Ability to work over a 7 day roster, current National police certificate, annual Flu vaccination.
