We’re partnering with a leading organisation on the hunt for a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with deep expertise across Microsoft Azure. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking team delivering enterprise-grade cloud platforms that underpin critical digital services.

The Opportunity

You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure Azure environments. Working across DevOps, infrastructure, and application teams, you’ll help drive automation, performance, and reliability across the cloud landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and support Azure cloud infrastructure and platform services

Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Bicep, Terraform or ARM templates

Automate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or equivalent

Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues

Embed cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices

Collaborate with developers and architects to ensure infrastructure aligns with solution needs

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a cloud engineering or platform role with a strong Azure focus

Expertise in key Azure services (AKS, VNets, Azure Functions, App Gateway, Key Vault etc.)

Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python)

Familiar with modern DevOps tooling and agile delivery

Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity
