Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Armature Winder responsible for rewinding and repairing various types of electric motors, This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and test armatures and coils for damage or wear
Disassemble motors and prepare windings for repair or rewinding
Wind coils using manual or semi-automated winding machines
Perform wire stripping, insulation, taping, and varnishing
Reassemble and test motors to ensure operational standards
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Complete, detailed repair records and reports
Requirements:
Proven experience as an Armature Winder or similar role
Strong understanding of electrical motor components and repair techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Skilled in the use of winding equipment and hand tools
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and tools
Vocational or technical training in electrical/mechanical fields is preferred
