About Craigslea OSHC
Craigslea OSHC is a 160-place facility managed by the school's P&C. The service offers before school care, after school care, and vacation care. Children engage in structured indoor and outdoor activities, create their own games, and participate in incursions, excursions, and externally facilitated activities, such as art, break dancing, and drama classes. We provide a safe, enjoyable, and welcoming environment so that children (and their parents) love coming to OSHC.
Your Impact
In this exciting role, you'll get to promote learning in a fun and supportive environment, sparking curiosity and creativity with different activities. You'll help build confidence and development in kids, forming positive relationships with them and their families. As a key member of the Service Leadership Team, you’ll lead and develop our Educators and support the coordinator in maintaining a high-quality service. About you
A Diploma in Children's Service or equivalent
Previous experience as an Educational Leader, in either a Long Day Care or OSHC environment
Current First Aid and CPR certificate (including Asthma and Anaphylaxis management)
Completed Child Protection Training from a Registered Training Organisation (stand-alone unit or as part of a recently completed Certificate III or Diploma)
Valid Working with Children Check – Blue Card
Available Monday – Friday (BSC 6.30am – 9.15am, ASC 1.30pm – 6.00pm, Vacation Care 6.30am – 6.00pm)
About the Educational Leader Role
Plan, prepare and implement weekly programs
Support Educators with the implementation of the program and documentation
Foster a positive working relationship with parents, families, staff and community
Advise families about the program, policies and procedures when required
Provide professional leadership and development to our Educators
Act as the Responsible Person when required
Assist in administrative tasks
