Position Overview:
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing client accounts, ensuring that insurance policies align with clients’ needs, and driving business growth. This role involves a high level of expertise in policy management, client relationship development, and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the position requires performing ad hoc duties to meet temporary, special, or situational needs, demonstrating leadership, flexibility, and proactive problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring that their insurance needs are met and they are satisfied with the coverage and service.
Sales and Account Management: Identify new business opportunities, cross-sell, and up-sell general insurance products to existing clients. Manage and grow a portfolio of clients.
Risk Assessment and Analysis: Work with clients to assess their risk profile and recommend appropriate insurance coverage to mitigate those risks.
Negotiation and Renewal: Handle negotiations with insurance carriers, ensuring that clients receive the best rates and coverage options. Oversee policy renewals and ensure clients are updated on changes in the insurance market.
Claims Management: In some cases, the Senior Account Executive may assist clients in managing claims, ensuring that the claims process runs smoothly and clients receive fair settlements.
Market Research and Trends: Stay up to date on market trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products, ensuring that clients receive up-to-date advice.
Team Collaboration: Work with underwriters, claims adjusters, and other departments to ensure client satisfaction and smooth operations.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure that all insurance policies, documentation, and client communications comply with industry regulations and internal policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Business or any related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the insurance industry (General Insurance).
Strong verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and internal coordination.
