Starting hourly rate of $39.67 per hour

We’re currently looking for a trade qualified Fitter and Turner to join the Maintenance Team at the Jubilee Sawmill in Mount Gambier, South Australia.

The role:

Reporting to the Mechanical Supervisor, your main responsibility will be to safely and efficiently carry out repair and preventative maintenance work across the Jubilee Sawmill Site.

Starting hourly rates of $39.67 per hour (Classification MGMC7). 15% shift loading is additional on afternoon shift, 30% shift loading is additional on night shift.

Two role/shift rotation options available:

- Greenmill Area Fitter: Rotating day and afternoon shift, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

- Workshop Fitter: Rotating day, afternoon and night shift, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)

Weekend work and shift coverage may be required.

You:

· Hold a valid fitter and turner trade qualification

· Have experience in maintenance fitting & machining work or relevant trade experience

· Be able to prioritise & act with a sense of urgency to achieve plant uptime targets

· Have good problem-solving skills

· Be able to work effectively independently or in a team

· Are willing to continually learn
