Mental Health Clinician

Reporting to the Mental health and Wellbeing Manager, the Mental Health Clinician is responsible for providing specialist advice and consultation, assisting those experiencing psychological injury, promoting workplace mental health, wellbeing and psychosocial safety.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Provide specialist advice, consultancy and recommendations to the Mental Health and Wellbeing team, Injury Management Support team, Work Health and Safety team, leadership group and other areas of the organisation concerning mental health and wellbeing.
- Assist with the provision of critical incident responses when required (which may require after-hours response)
- Identify potential psychosocial risks and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of the Mental Health and Wellbeing strategy in conjunction with the Mental Health & Wellbeing Manager.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute initiatives that promote psychological health, resilience, and overall well-being.
ABOUT YOU
- Relevant qualification in psychology, social work or related field, and eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional body, Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience working in the field of mental health, preferably within a corporate or
- organisational setting.
- In-depth knowledge of psychology principles, theories, and best practices
- Counselling skills.
- Expertise in conducting psychometric assessments and interpreting results.
