About Us - Talking Matters is a division of the Torrens Health group. We employ passionate, fun & committed Speech Pathologists to work with children with a wide variety of developmental & learning needs aged from 0 to 18 years. Our services are provided either in our well-resourced clinics in Elizabeth Downs & Christie Downs or within schools, preschools or homes & include individual & group therapy.

Comprehensive orientation and support in understanding our daily schedule set up, our community and the ways in which our administration team can support you from day one. This leads to success as you transition into our team.

Fortnightly formal clinical mentoring sessions with senior clinician

Shadow shifts to learn and get new ideas from our awesome team

Gradual progression of appointments during your initial period with us

Fortnightly whole team clinical development meetings. Recent topics have been presented by both guest speakers and our clinicians around Neurodiversity Affirming Practice, Teaching Grammatical Structures and Restrictive Practice. Future topics are due to include PDA, Assistive Technology and Caring for the Carer.

Daily availability for support from management & the wider clinical team

Supportive administration team.

Our current opportunity is at our Elizabeth Downs clinic. Enjoy enviable work environment and enormous resource library. All clinicians have access to quiet workplaces inside and outside.
