About the role

Temporary part time opportunity to provide high quality psychological assessment and treatment to adult patients diagnosed with cancer and contribute to a patient's ongoing medical management and care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Deliver high level, evidence-based Psychology clinical services to cancer patients including consultation, assessment, brief interventions and evaluation of complex care needs.
• Contribute to the development of clinical practice, procedures and administrative protocols for the Psychology Department and multidisciplinary medical teams that support the continuum of care.
• Develop clinical practice knowledge and expertise by engaging in, initiating and facilitating professional development activities within the multidisciplinary team and Psychology networks.
