Join Queensland Treasury as a Senior Investment Officer, Contract Management within our Investment Attraction team. Utilise your expert skills in contract management to support the administration of investment program contracts aimed at supporting economic growth in Queensland.
In this role, you will:
Support the development of funding agreements using established standard templates.
Support the assessment of contract deliverables and benefits realisation within financial incentive agreements including conditions precedent and special conditions satisfaction, performance milestone verification, claim payment acquittals, variations and terminations.
Manage the processing and verification of contractual claim payments, ensuring adherence to all contracts administration procedures.
Manage bank guarantees, including maintaining the bank guarantee and contract registers.
Analyse milestone project progress reports, financial reports and other outcomes reporting as required across financial incentive agreements.
Prepare briefing notes, correspondence and maintenance of records and files in accordance with records management procedures.
Manage and report on contract deliverables, milestone and benefits in relevant reporting systems contributing to the continuous improvement of these systems and contract management processes. Build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What experience you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in contract management of financial incentive agreements and the contract management lifecycle, preferably in the public sector.
- Demonstrated relevant legal, compliance and research knowledge and commercial acumen.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with key internal business areas and external recipients to ensure value and quality of contract management advice.
- A high level of interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role; relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
