About the role

Join the team at Burtons plumbing solutions pty ltd' as a full-time Excavator Operator based in Chevallum, QLD. As an experienced plant and machinery operator in the construction industry, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of a range of infrastructure projects.

What you'll be doing

Operate excavators/machinery to carry out essential earthmoving tasks for plumbers such as digging, trenching and loading out

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of excavators and other construction equipment

Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery

Work as part of a team to complete projects on time and to a high standard

Comply with all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as an Excavator Operator, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the construction industry

Relevant tickets and licences, including a valid HR or HC driver's licence and a construction white card

Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of excavator operations and maintenance

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
