What's the Role:

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. You will schedule and monitor the manufacture of product through the plants manufacturing process in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner with a view to achieving the customers required delivery dates.

You will liaise with all Bradken internal sales staff regarding current and or pending orders and ensure the timely and efficient processing of all customer sales orders. This will involve working with suppliers to ensure materials are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as industrial engineering, operations management or manufacturing
  • 3-5 years of experience in production planning in a manufacturing environment, preferably in similar industry or heavy industry

Experience:

  • Experience in developing and implementing processes designed to optimise order fulfilment efficient and effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and plan production requirements.
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills are compulsory
  • Experience with various manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and adjust plans quickly in response to changing demands
  • Great at problem solving

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
  • Ability to interact well with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications.
  • In‐depth knowledge of project planning software preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills

This role is based in Bassendean.
