CGC Recruitment are working in partnership with a long standing WA owned tier 2 commercial building head contractor who have recently been awarded a new $30m Education project in Perth and as a result, require an experienced Project Manager to join the business & take the lead on this new development from the start.

A privately owned, tier 2 commercial builder with a proven track record in delivering quality commercial construction projects across Western Australia with an emphasis on integrity, collaboration, and excellence.

With over 30 staff internally, the business has experienced stable growth over the past few years, delivering a diverse range of projects from Education, Industrial, Retail & Commercial, typically in the $10-50m project value range.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of this newly awarded, high-profile education development. As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of the project, from planning and procurement to construction and final handover. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the delivery of a $30M education facility from start to finish
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and risk mitigation plans
• Drive high standards of safety, quality, and compliance on site
• Report progress to senior leadership and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

About You

• Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects valued at $15M+
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a dynamic environment
• Tertiary or trade qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.

A long term, permanent position with a stable business - directly reporting into the business Directors. Salary will align with experience, ranging from $200-220k + Super.
