About the practice:

Our client is a well-established chartered accounting practice located on the east side of the Adelaide CBD. The team of 8 staff are down-to-earth, collaborative and passionate about helping small to medium businesses thrive. They are big believers in building genuine relationships with their clients and their team of professional accountants.

Due to the acquisition of a number of new large client groups, they are wishing to hire an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team.

About therole:

Due to the flat structure of the practice, you will work with the Senior Manager and Partner, in a fairly autonomous role, to deliver high-quality tax and business services to a portfolio of loyal, long-term SME clients.
Duties include:

• Preparing financial statements, BAS, and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals and SMSF’s
• Supporting clients with tax planning, structuring, and general business advice
• Building strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted guidance

About you:

• 5+ years experience in Australian Public Practice
• Strong technical tax and accounting knowledge
• Experience with MYOB AE, Xero and Xero Practice Manager
• IPA/CA/CPA qualified - or working towards the qualification
• A well-presented professional, with a friendly disposition, who can communicate effectively with all stakeholders, and who enjoys being part of team that values great client outcomes.
