This is a permanent part time appointment for 38 hours per fortnight.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

As well as undertaking a criminal record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile: The Senior Occupational Therapist (OT) as part of a multidisciplinary team functions as a Care Coordinator, undertakes assessments, plans, implements, coordinates and evaluates Occupational Therapy services to consumers of the Community Treatment Team, Independent Community Living Strategy. The Senior OT plans, implements, and evaluates patient safety and quality of care as well as provides clinical consultation the multi-disciplinary team and coordinates duties with external stakeholders. Practises as a Senior Occupational Therapist and ensures practise is in accordance with the Occupational Therapy professional and registration requirements, standards, codes and guidelines and EMHS policies and guidelines.

Home to the State Major Adult Trauma Service, RPH offers tertiary-level emergency medicine, mental health, complex and elective surgical care, and specialist medical services.
