About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Operations Manager to lead the operations of a Managed Service Provider (MSP) program delivering critical network communications. This role is pivotal in driving the adoption of service management best practices across enterprise programs and ensuring operational excellence in a high-stakes environment.

You will provide leadership and mentorship to Network Operations Managers, foster collaboration across technical and support teams, and champion continual improvement initiatives. This is a senior-level role with a hybrid work model, requiring regular in-office presence in Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for critical network operations aligned with industry best practices.
• Oversee the physical NOC footprint, including workstation assignments and asset configuration.
• Coordinate modernization efforts across enterprise network infrastructure.
• Manage 1st-level operations teams handling alarm response, performance monitoring, and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with security and risk management directives.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of NOC policies and processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, PMO, and HR to maintain optimal staffing and training.
• Serve as escalation manager for major network events and service performance issues.
• Contribute to enterprise-level reporting, stakeholder meetings, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years in NOC leadership
  OR
  10+ years in telecommunications with 7+ years in NOC leadership and ITIL professional certification.
• Strong experience implementing ITIL practices (ITILv4 Foundation + Professional level certification).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNA certification.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, WAN/LAN technologies.
• Experience with F5 Load Balancers, Cisco ASR/Nexus, Arista switches.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and performance management tools.
• Experience in SLA development and management in an MSP environment.
• Project management experience and ability to lead in high-pressure scenarios.
• Security clearance eligibility .
