About the role

The City of Fremantle is currently seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced customer service officer to join our team in the contact centre. This is an integral position within the customer service team. If you are dedicated to excellence in customer service, you are willing to learn, you are team player and enjoy helping people with their enquiries and service requests – then we want you.

Key responsibilities include:

You will answer inbound calls from our customers and provide excellence in customer service through being friendly, polite and courteous, knowledgeable of the City’s processes and procedures and generally being willing to assist. You will work closely with existing customer service staff and will be supported by your peers and team leader.
