We are one of the largest window and door manufacturers in Australia and we need new staff to expand.

About the Job

We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver with current MC and forklift licences to fulfil warehouse duties, manage product transfers between our North Geelong sites, and complete interstate line haul deliveries to other Southern Star Group branches across Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland.

Duties include:

Driving shuttle trucks between our North Geelong factories and warehouse

Loading and unloading trucks, including securing loads for transport

Lifting, carrying, and manual handling of products

Interstate delivery of aluminium and timber window and door products and parts

Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards

Adhering to all OH&S policies, procedures, and legislative requirements

Backloading orders from suppliers

About You

We are looking for applicants who have:

Hold a current valid Multi Combination (MC) licence

Hold a current valid Forklift licence

Have experience driving B-double and MC line haul vehicles

Are physically fit and capable of heavy lifting and manual loading/unloading

Can follow set routes and meet delivery deadlines

Have strong written and verbal communication skills

Work well in a team and have a friendly, positive attitude

Are hardworking and reliable

Have experience in the building products industry (preferred but not essential)
