- Base Salary $108,557 - $118,267 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
As the Senior Global Research Partnerships Officer, you will support the delivery of the University's strategic partnership strategy to enhance research quality and impact through international collaboration. You will assist in administering internal funding schemes and help researchers (particularly early and mid-career academics) identify and leverage global funding opportunities. This role also involves reporting on outcomes and providing essential administrative support to the unit.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- contribute to a collaborative and cohesive team reporting to the Manager, Global Research Partnerships
- administer funding schemes, support awardees in identifying avenues to leverage international funding, and support strategic initiatives
- build strong relationships with researchers, faculties, and international partners
- track and report partnership outcomes, manage activities, and share opportunities across the University
- deliver workshops and create promotional content aligned with strategic goals
- advise on global research trends and ensure alignment with University priorities and SDGs
About you
- tertiary qualifications
- demonstrated experience in and understanding of research environments
- strong research and analytical skills for identifying international collaboration opportunities and funding
- ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders with the ability to achieve buy-in from key partners
- effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- administrative skills to coordinate tasks and meet deadlines effectively
